The Canon SELPHY CP780 comes with a one-year warranty for parts and labor, under what Canon calls its InstantExchange service. If Canon can't fix a problem over the phone, and the printer is still under warranty, the company will ship you a replacement along with a prepaid return shipping label, so you can send the original back. Canon picks up the cost of shipping in both directions.
