The Epson Stylus Photo 900 was significantly slower on our performance suite than all of the personal printers we tested for this story. On our tests, it was notably slow at a 12-page Word document, which took more than 13 minutes. A fast Canon, by contrast, managed this feat a hair shy of 2 minutes. Printing a CD with a background graphic took 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
